The 2020 International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB 2020) combines two major biometrics research conferences, the Biometrics Theory, Applications and Systems (BTAS) conference and the International Conference on Biometrics (ICB). The blending of these two conferences in 2020 is through a special agreement between the IEEE Biometrics Council and the IAPR TC-4, and should present an exciting event for the entire worldwide biometrics research community. 

IJCB 2020 introduces a two-round review procedure that is similar to journal submissions. New papers can be submitted in either the first or the second round. The two-round submission procedure allows authors to revise and resubmit papers based on the first round reviews, thus, significantly improving their work for the second round. The program chairs will strive to assign resubmitted papers to the same reviewers. Papers submitted in the second round go through a normal one-stage review process.
